Review content:
Having heard good things about Sayler's Old Country Kitchen, specifically on this site I decided to give it a try.
Well, I thought it was bloody awful. Granted dinner for two was reasonable however, Im not going to judge a restaurant by its price point. Nope, no way! They specialize in steak and thats what Im going to use as my benchmark; and let me say, Saylers set the standard quite low.
I ordered the rib-eye, while my girlfriend decided on the filet. After munching on the relish for a few minutes our orders arrived. The rib-eye was of mediocre quality and was not medium-rare as I had requested and the fries were greasy and appeared to have been re-fried and the water had a rusty taste! My girlfriend appeared to enjoy her fillet
The server was polite and courteous.
Would I go back dont think so.
