Review content:
this 1st review HAD to be written be an employee. just this past week i got my brand new ruger 9mm outta pawn. not a cheap pistol by any means. ok, i saw a 1911 colt .45 i liked. offered them my 9, the pawn money i had just given + $150 boot. all that thrown together was worth just at their askin' price on the colt. my 9 was in much better shape. all the parts were tighter, etc. ""he had to clear it with the owner."" ""ended up wantin' all i explained along with an additional $160."" ""that would more than bought a brand new one."" i tried to explain to gomer on the phone that they need to adopt a""pawn shop"" mentality. not sears. in the past they're idea of ""haggling"" was to take the price of the tag amount and let it go ""tax included"". i attempted to relay to gomer the difference in eeking out a living and ""DOING GOOD BUSINESS"". only thing that saves their a$$ is the fact they're the only pawn shop in town. ""they best hope noone else strikes up another shop or they're ""circlin' the drain""."" pisspoor business folk.
