Treasure hunting doesn't get any better than perusing the vintage selection of goodies at I Heart Retro on NE Broadway. If you're looking for gold-ticket items from yesteryear, this is the place to be. All inventory is procured and refurbished (if necessary) on an individual basis by the owner, who combs our fair city over for the sweetest merchandise. While her specialty is furniture, I Heart Retro additionally offers a stellar selection of clothing, accessories, and knick-knacks for every occasion. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is searching to furnish a new living space, or on the prowl for fun gifts (for yourself as well as others). My one in a million find? A duck phone (yes, exactly like the one from MTV's notorious television smash ""Jersey Shore..."") purchased for a mere ten bucks! Search for that item on eBay - and you'll see vendors trying to pander them off for upwards of 80 bucks! I have to say, I Heart Retro stole my heart and then some. From the decor to the staff - and all the cool odds and ends in between - this place is a gem.
