I work at an animal hospital near Brothers Pets, where I client of ours recently bought a kitten. He brought his new feline friend in and it had about 16 syringes full of fluid surrounding its lungs, caused by feline leukemia which the kitten tested positive for. This disease is highly contageous and is spread on contact, so more than likely the other kittens at Brothers are sick now as well. A good store would test for this before purchasing animals from a breeder or selling animals to customers.
