Review content:
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I took my diesel truck in to this dealership for an engine problem. They indicated it may be as long as 3 weeks before we could pick it up. When they had not even looked it by the 3rd day, I called Rountree service department and told them I wanted to pick it up and take it to another dealership who could get to it faster. They responded that it wouldn?t change the 2-3 week repair time. They stated that the Ford manufacturer?s warranty impeded their ability to expedite repairs, due to slow ordering of parts and approval for repairs. So my wife took me down to pick up the truck and then followed me home. As she was following me, she noticed that the back bumper was dented in. When we got home, I called the service department and was advised to bring it back down to let the service manager look at it. We arrived at the dealership; the Fixed Ops Manager (Chuck Brannaka) came out, looked at the bumper, and informed us that they were not going to be responsible for the damage. (We happened to know there were no dents on the back bumper because we had recently purchased the truck and thoroughly inspected it ? you know how careful you are when you?re buying a new vehicle.) In short, we were more than a little upset. When we asked if he was calling us liars, his response was ?Did you see it happen?? Now we were stunned! How could we? The truck had been in their back service lot for 5 days (including the weekend). We were absolutely sure there was no dented bumper when we took the truck to Rountree. We tried to tell Chuck this and he just smiled, threw out his arms, and backed away.--- No common courtesy to express concern for the damage to our truck!----No common decency to even investigate our complaint! What kind of place is this?? Incidentally, this is the first review we have written and we would not be pursuing this if we had lied about the damage to our truck. P.S. We took our truck to another dealership. They?ve had it 2 days, and it?s ready to pick up. Imagine that ? no 3 week wait!
