Review content:
This place is absolutely fabulous for eclectic live music (mostly solo acoustic) on weekend evenings from 7:30 to 11. Call ahead to be sure they've got a line up, but I've certainly never been disappointed on a Friday night. Sometimes there is even the occasional foreign up-and-comer in town to court the record companies - slummin' in Venice and putting on an incredible show at this dingy, friendly, REAL Venice hot spot! I saw Australian singer Jackie Bristow at Abbot's Habit, and was BLOWN AWAY at how great her performance was, and how perfectly she seemed to fit here - a testament both to her flexibility as an artist, and to the open, casual environment that is Abbot's Habit.
Pros: Great sandwiches, Perfect coffee, Friendly staff
Cons: Kitchen is DOG SLOW., Parking can be hard.
