I went to Marseille on Valentines Day when the big snow storm occured. The decor of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The service was good, the waiter was readily available and answered any questions we had about the menu. We ordered the panisses as an appetizer, which was delicious. I ordered the duck breast for the entree and was slightly disappointed because the watercrest was raw and the duck breast was a bit tough and red in the middle. If I were to order it again, I'd ask them to cook it well done. My boyfriend had the shortribs and that was delicious. It was tender and the sauce was just right, not overwhelming. Be careful what you choose to drink. We ordered two glasses of merlot without checking the price and were charged $15 per glass! The dessert was great though ...we ordered the chocolate coulant. The experience was great overall and I would go back but be a bit more careful about what drinks I ordered and ask more in depth questions about the preparation of the dishes. Pros: great service, shortribs were delicious! Cons: small servings, expensive wine
