Review content:
I live in a DreamCraft home and community. The materials used were the least expensive available, installed by sub contractors with the lowest bid who paid their employees the lowest wage possible and the homes in the end reflect that.
The lots are small and you can see into your immediate neighbors home and they can see into your home. I hope you like company while getting dressed and showered in the morning.
The CC&R's are poorly written and create a hostile neighborhood environment managing the HOA. The establishment of a HOA benefits DreamCraft employees who setup HOA management companies to profit from homeowners after sale. The HOA board supported and implemented by DreamCraft Homes ignores the CC&R?s for the board while becoming a police dictator state for the homeowner. Just the beginning are commercial vehicles parked in directors driveways and goods stored in them. DCH rentals and owned homes are also exempt from CC&R observance.
The after sale support is nonexistent. You've closed escrow, now it is your problem. Worst company I have ever dealt with. I would avoid doing business with them. I would NEVER buy another home from the builder or in a new community they're developing.
Pros: it is someplace to live
Cons: hostile communities
