I was raised to believe that you should put things back where you find them. Not so with these folks. You might find your trash container in the middle of the street, thrown in your yard or maybe somewhere down the street. When they come by to pick up the recycling, if there's something in the bin they don't like, they either throw it in the street or toss it into your yard. Evidently it's way too much trouble to put the offending item in the garbage container that's stainding inches away. Posted speed limits in the neighborhood are never adhered to (ours is 20 MPH). They ignore one way street signs as well (somehow they think that if they back up a street in the wrong direction it's OK). If you happen to be stading nearby when they're performing their services they will take time to complain to you that you have too much trash, no matter how much or how little you have. I mean isn't taking out the trash their job? I know it's not exactly skillled labor and I'm glad I don't have to do it, but no matter what your job is, shouldn't you at least be competent? I can't wait for their contract with the City of Winter Park to come up for review. I'm going to be there armed with pictures and videos of what we, the residents are paying for.
