I called all over Santa Fe and Espanola for gravel-santa fe brown- and the lowest price was Classic Rock. I asked the women how much to deliver 20 yds to the Pojoaque area and she asked (without putting me on hold) people behind her. I heard several voices say $90, no $95...and she then placed me on hold and came back with a final delivery price of $100. I mentioned to her that this was high and others in her area charged $85. She told me that this was the rate for delivery based on the truckers. I made some other calls and decided on Classic Rock. I told my husband to call in the morning and finalize the order to make sure the amount was what he actually needed. He ordered the original request of 20 yds and confirmed with them that the deliver for the order was $100. When they delivered, it took two of their trucks and when we recieved the invoice from the trucker, we were charged $200 for delivery. We both stated to the trucker that this was an error and he asked that we call the office. The delivery manager whom we never spoke to before stated that it was $100 per truck. This was not what was stated to us by the lady unless she assumed we knew what it would take to deliver. I told him that when we inquired and when we finally ordered 20 yds the price of delivery was stated as $100, period- not by truck but he told me, rudely, that I should have know it would take two trucks. How since I could not visualize 20 yds nor know how big his trucks were!?! I was quoted $100 for 20 yds. He then started yelling at me and said that he was behind the lady I spoke with and she told me per truck and it would take two truck. I swear this was not the case!! He continued to yelled at me that he knew for a fact that this was what I was told becuase he was there?! I then told him to take back his gravel and he threatened me saying ""it's yours now, you ordered it, pay it or I will lien your house."" Then he hung up on me!, I have never been treated like this as a consumer. I also never write reviews but I don't think people like this deserve to be in business. Much to my shock, someone prior to me already reviewed a horrible experience with this company!! Pay the higher price!
Pros: None! Low prices maybe but you pay for it in lack of service
