What a great find. Zanzibar was recommended by the caretakers of the B & B we were staying at. Zanzibar has an extensive menu including tapas. Think upscale alternative type dishes at reasonable prices. The baked artichoke appetizer (very similar to an artichoke dip) was incredible. Both my husband and I enjoyed our entrees. I had a seafood linguine dish with shrimp, scallops, salmon and garlic. The flavor of the pasta was so good, I didn't want to stop eating! One thing we noted, is that they like to use a LOT of garlic in their dishes. We love garlic, but if you're not a huge fan, I'd ask your server before picking a dish. I can't wait to be in Menomonie again to go back to Zanzibar's. Pros: Tasty food, nice ambiance Cons: I wish they were in my home town!
