This place is a big scam, they claim to have changed management managment but the same people sit in the office. Im pretty sure all they did was change their name due to non payment of bills and taxes(I have proof). They also charge residents for electric and gas on top of their regular bills through a company by the name of rockcreek utilities.There's a couple of problems,residents shouldn't pay for usage in common areas that's the managements responsibility and second the utility company rock creek doesn't exist as told to me by the real utility company. I was told that they had switch to this company yea right! These people are extorting residents and stealing money.
I'm in a situation where Garden Terrace is trying to force me to pay their utility bills and property taxes on top of my own bills.Legally well actually none of this is legal but lets just act like it is for a moment. I did not sign anything on my lease saying that I would have to pay for all of this so an addendum would have to be added stating the fees and such and I would have to sign to it. Well Garden terrace took it upon themselves to tailor up an addendum and forge my name and signature (in which they misspelled). Now I am in court to fight this and to be able to move without them damaging my credit.Oh and I forgot to add they are trying to evict me over not paying their bills and taxes. Heres some reasons not to move into this place- Dirty, Scumbag liar management, bedbugs, illegal business practices, incompetent maintenance crew.Most of the people here are lambs or are just too stupid to do anything. I wont let this happen to me and I will fight for whats right.
