Review content:
i'll preface this by saying DZ does a great job on hemming jeans and keeping the original hem. don't go any further with her. three examples. 1. my best friend brought in a sweatshirt and a vintage patch she wanted sewn on the back as a gift for someone. she goes to pick it up and the patch was sewn on UPSIDE DOWN!! 2. i brought a dress in to be hemmed (that was my first mistake). i had to go back and call roughly seven times over the period of about 4 months before she finished the dress. you HAVE to tell her a certain date you need it by. that's the only way she'll get it done. 3. the dress i brought in to have hemmed, i tried it on, she pinned it, all was well when i left her shop. i finally get it home, try it on, and it's a shirt. she turned it into a shirt. it literally didn't even come half way down my butt. i am not exaggerating. i didn't notice how short it was when i picked it up, as another dress i had altered was in front of it. there's no need to even tell her about it. what can she do about it now? nothing. damage is done. my $350 dress, ruined. now a shirt. screw dz. Cons: she'll ruin your clothing AND take forever to get it done.
