I worked for Bond Dinettes and I can agree with the customers. Stephen P. , the older owner of the two gives the worse customer service ever! The prices aren't the lowest and I have caught them in their own lies. I was told once by Steve, the younger of the two owners to look around for competitors with better prices. When Stephen saw I was lowing the prices, he yelled at me! He told me that unless the customer mentions a lower price, never to tell them there is a lower price. He would yell at customers in front of other customers as well as yell at employees for mistakes he committed himself! The service is horrible and half the time what they delivery are items that were on the showroom that had scraps that Stephen would cover with furniture polish in the back. He was a furniture maker by trade and he knows how to make customers think things are new. The 50 year rep is not his! The 50 years of good service belongs to the original owner that he bought the store from. Their definition of free delivery is charging a gas surcharge. The majority of the happy customers that go in there are happy because of a set they purchased under the old management and when they see how things have changed, their mind changes too.
