On a Friday afternoon I noticed our daughter had a large speck of dirt in her eye. We tried to flush it out, but failed. So we called our Family Practice physician. He got us in right before closing and decided it was metal, and it had already imbedded itself in her eye. He recommended antibiotics and to get into an Opthamologist in the next 2-3 days. My husband (even though it was after hours) tried to find an Opthamologist in the KC metro area who might see her sometime on Monday. Dr. David Braverman not only agreed to see us, but scheduled an appointment to see us the next morning even though he was leaving town that weekend. He was incredibly kind, patient, informative and professional. And although his office is nearly 30 miles away we will be going to him for ALL of our childrens eye care needs. Thank you Dr. Braverman for going above & beyond the call of your duty!!!
