Review content:
My friend told me to try out this hidden restaurant on the corner church and barker. From the street, the first thing you notice is the huge windows that open up into the restaurant. Once you walk in there is a friendly face and a view of the open kitchen. On the left is the colorful lounge and bar area. Full of rich blues and contrasting yellows. To your right is the elegant, sophisticated main dinning area blessed with seductive arched banquets. My date and I were seated only after a short 15 minute wait at the bar. Which is not bad considering we had no reservations on a Saturday night. Once seated, the night seemed to go by flawlessly. Our first course was a delicious fresh caesar salad, which was exciting to see made at our table. Closely followed were two separate dishes consisting of a light tuna tartar, and a unique roasted quail special. Both plates left us yearning for more. As an entree, I ordered the Wasabi Pea Encrusted Salmon. It was mouth watering, and definitely going on the favorite list. My classy date had the Chilean Sea bass, which he gave high scores to as well. Saving a little room for sweets, we ordered a peanut butter pie which was a light and fluffy custer-type dessert made in house. Such a nice little compliment to a parade of wonderful tastes and textures. If you are ever in White Plains or New York in general, do take the time to try out this place. I am sure you will walk away the same wonderful experience.
Pros: Menu, ambience
Cons: waited a little for the server
