Businiess name:  Avery Park Apartments

Review content:
From the first day I moved in I have dealt with issues with this complex. Unfortunately, I had to move quickly from my last place and settled for Avery Park. I was impressed by the ""model"" they showed me only to be fooled by the actual apartment I received keys for but because I had to move I didn't have a choice but to take it. The carpet is heavily stained, the bathtub is peeling, the stove top doesn't work, the whole apartment is extremely drafty, walls weren't even wiped down prior to move in. I had to clean the whole place myself. The response I got when I submitted my move in sheet with my request of items to be fixed was ""I know some of this stuff you put on here just to cover yourself when you move out."" Um, no. It's on the list because I was promised an ""upgraded"" apartment. I've had bugs,I can hear the neighbors complete nightly routine, including vaccuming at 1030 pm, I can hear the mariachi music from the other neighbors all weekend. I've had to place a maintenence request almost every week. I'd hate to see what the apartment looked like before it was upgraded. I've had to get a post office box because the mail boxes are constantly being broken into. Most don't even have doors on them. It's unfortunate I signed a year lease because I am extremely unhappy living here. Once my lease is up I will NOT be renewing. If you don't speak English and don't really care where you live this is the place for you. But if you have a family and like an apartment with working appliances and clean facilities then look elsewhere.
