I saw the last review and could not leave it at that. My family make it a point of trying every sushi place we live near or travel by -- we love sushi. This is one of our favorite places in the Portland/Salem area. The service is very nice and friendly. We have a large family and there are booths that accommodate large groups(8+). The food has always been wonderful. They have a Tonkatsu that brings me back to the period of time I lived in Japan. The sushi has always been fresh and they have a couple of house specials that are worth trying. I always look forward to being in Salem to stop by. Try it, you'll like it.
Pros: Good food, good service, clean
Cons: If you go during the week go after 5pm -- downtown parking
