For all the weirdness that is UFO Pizza, it is definitely a favorite of mine for authentic Greek food and pizza. Alki, the owner operator, is native Greek and knows how to make some delicious Gyros and Souvlaki. The menu is very basic: Gyros, Souvlaki, Pizza, Spaghetti, and a Greek Salad, but what Alki does serve tastes delicious. The pita is handmade fresh daily, as is the pizza dough. Pizza is such a subjective topic that there is not point in saying that ""this is the best pizza ever!"", but it is really good. The best deal is the 12"" mini-pizza for 4.25 plus .75 per topping. Alki keeps it simple with no beer or wine for sale and takes cash only. Closed Sundays. Show up a few minutes early for your to-go order and spend some time gawking at all the crazy-cool stuff on the walls.
