Review content:
This little place is a real hole-in-the wall. Do NOT let the decor deter you; just soak up the downscale chintz, then escape with a box of the BEST DAMN PIZZA YOU EVER TASTED. It must be eaten hot. The sauce has that fresh, sharp tomato flavor (not from a jar here), the crust is buttery and crisp and nicely thin, the cheese is crispy and a little chewy. The toppings are almost an afterthought, but ask for extra garlic if you can handle it, or fresh tomato for good wholesome flavor. Eggplant is my personal favorite. Yes, I've had pizza all over Manhattan, and you can keep it. This is the real stuff.
Pros: Head-spinning pizza!
Cons: Dark, dank, messy interior. Strictly take-out.
