I found a piece of glass in the potato salad recently and discreetly reported this to the manager, Karren Vanstronder. She asked me what I wanted to do about it and I told her to call the owner, Homer Duff. Twenty minutes later, she returned with two Largo Police Department Officers, who said that she reported that I was creating a disturbance and I must leave. I had been going to Stacey's for almost six years. Overall, the food there is mediocre and the service is poor. There are ceiling A/C ducts that drip water and half-washed plates and dinner ware. There are better values for food and service elsewhere. Stay away from Stacey's Buffet.
