I was born and bred on the UWS and I never thought I would go to the East Side for anything. But when Frank and Sohalia moved there from the west village I didn't think twice! Even if I didn't need a fabulous cut or an amazing color or style (both of which are done to perfection), I would still go there for the magic hands of Elsa, who shampoos and massages your scalp like no one else. My prosaic husband says ""What? You're going to the east side just for a shampoo??"" Well, for the ultimate in relaxing (and I've done that too, with the Brazilian treatment) in an atmosphere of French chic and American casual hospitality, this is THE place to go! Dive into La Piscine and you won't be disappointed!
