Bicks is my favorite spot to dine north of 85th. I've never had a meal there that wasn't original and delicious. Contrary to some reports on this site, I've never had bad service. I hosted a birthday party there on a weekday for a group of 14 people and the wait staff graciously accommodated our party and the extras that straggled in. Because it's one of the only nicer places to meet in the neighborhood, Bicks is often really busy and crowded but the ambiance is still relaxed, fun, and non-pretentious. Local celebrities, average Joes, professionals, and families enjoy the amazing food shoulder to shoulder. The manager, Dan, will work hard to make your visit memorable.
