Review content:
...that Pink Godzilla used to really be something. From the fun name, to the knick knacks, the tshirts and the tatami rooms. I've also heard that they used to have a killer ""surfer special"" that included lots of cheap, good sushi. I went here with a longtime SC resident and I really wanted to love the place. By his description, I was very excited but, unfortunatly it seems like it's kinda gone downhill. It's not terrible, but it's a bit dingy inside and the waitress we had was nice enough but not very knowledgable about the menu. The gyoza was very good, as were a few of the rolls, but I just wasn't especially impressed. I will say that their maguro was excellent, though. They do have unfiltered sake, which is a plus, but honestly I like Mobo Sushi a lot better.
