Review content:
We showed up at this restaurant on a beautiful day in July. The location is wonderful right off the marina in Everett, WA. I have ordered take out from this restaurtant before but we looked forward to dining in with our children. I stated that my wife has a health issue and if we could please order sushi rolls with brown rice instead on white. The waitress who turned out to be the owner utterly refused our request for sushi made with brown rice, stating that while they do have brown rice, ""it is not the Japanese way"". I responded that I respected Japanese culture but I am not Japanese and we would be glad to pay more for sushi made with brown rice. Again she emphatically refused. I offered $10.00 then $20.00 additional for our meal made with brown rice, and each time she refused, while shaking and eyes bulging, virtually yelling at us. She told us she would prefer not to have our business or any business for that matter if brown rice is the rice of choice!! We left never to return. I recommend if you need or desire the slightest accomodation, eat elsewhere. Pros: Location Cons: Inflexible, rude ownership
