Review content:
We went to Bond on a Saturday night to meet friends who were guests at the Langham Hotel. The bouncers seemed to take immense pleasure in explaining the hotel's ""guest"" policy (hotel guests can only bring in one person per room) and inserting us in the ""general population"" line. After waiting an hour to get in we found it was nothing more than a standard hotel bar with overpriced drinks, forgettable music, and lots of bored-looking people standing around. It's certainly a nice space with cathedral ceilings and grand decor, but the scenery isn't worth the trouble. And don't show up hungry unless you want to fork over $8 for a basket of bread! It might be a decent after work spot but not worth trekking to the middle of the financial district on the weekend and standing in line.
