Review content:
We had a "free" estimate (which they later charged us for) and then went ahead with part of the work estimated. Were told that the labor was around 85$ per hour. When the technician completed the work (which took around 2.5 hours) we were presented with a pre-printed bill that charged us $600 for labor. We were furious and were told that we had to pay for their travel time to and from our house and for the travel time for the original estimate. I feel like I was scammed. I will never use their services again and will warn everyone I know about their horrible business practices. RESPONSE FROM Martin Water Conditioning: Mr. Peters, we want to apologize for any miscommunication we had with you as to what our normal labor/install rates are. We always try our very best to make sure every customer fully understands our service rates and install rates so there are never any surprises. A manager will be contacting you immediately to see what we can do for you so youre completely satisfied.
