So, I keep hearing about how great Pilates is & I finally tried it to see what the fuss was all about. I normally work out at my gym & alwasy end up doing the same routine: weights for 30 minutes & cardio for 30 minutes. Recently I've been getting bored with it & my friend recommended I try Pilates at this place, Inside Out. They located in a gym (Lean On Me), so at first it was a little hard to find. The class was a mat class & it was later in the evening which worked perfectly for me, because I don't get off work until 5:30. I was at first a little intimidated, one, because the size of the class & two, I had never done it before. During the class the instructor was really good with directions & made it easier to know how to do the exercises. There was a lot to think about, am I breathing, was my belly pulled, was my shoulders down, etc... The class went by so fast, I didn't even realize it had been an hour. I loved it! This is such a great form of exercise for me & I'm going to tell everyone to try. And so should you!
