Review content:
After contacting O'Connor Studios in Feb (several months after they came to our school to photograph children), we finally received our 3rd grader's class group photo. Where it says the names of the students & teacher on the bottom, it gives no indication that my daughter is missing or was absent (she had been absent for 3 weeks in Sept due to illness). So I'm picturing 20 years from now, someone posts up their class pic from their ""social network"" page and nobody remembers poor little Kathryn being in their class....all because she was ill. I spoke with Jessica at O'Connor Studios who talked to their Production Manager and said they would add her name to the photo (as missing) and send me a new one. I explained that I'm really the last one who needs the newer version since I'm quite sure we will remember she was absent due to her extensive illness at that time, but the rest of the class who purchased group photos isn't getting the updated group photo. I said I couldn't believe they didn't have some experience with this or some protocol (by the way, DD is not happy about it either or I wouldn't be taking it up!). She did not seem to care. I might have gotten more sympathy from a robot. Well, the new group photo finally came and they spelled my daughter's name wrong! Called Jessica again and, without apology, just said that she would have someone redo it and had no response to my expression, once again, that I thought it should be redistributed to all students in class who bought a group photo since there is no indication on theirs that Kathryn was missing from picture. I guess it's hard to understand unless you are in the shoes. Either way, I would say that this company offers substandard services and cannot recommend them.
