Review content:
A great studio with the right atmosphere. As you walk up the entrance stairs, you immediately notice the contrast to the loud and busy 53rd St - a calm, peaceful setting, with warm, welcoming and friendly staff, including the proprietor Tim, who, when he is not teaching, is always nearby and accessible. With a large variety of offerings, including Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, kickboxing bellydancing, and more, there is something for everyone. In particular, the Ashtanga practice is very strong and growing (OK, so this is my practice - maybe it's just my perspective). This studio places an emphasis on the quality of your experience, as opposed to trying to prove something or to create pretense. The only mirrors here are in the bathrooms. Pros: Staff, atmosphere, facility
