If you've never been to Ireland and want to know what a real Irish Pub is all about you have to go to Mulleady's. This Pub could have been build in Ireland and shipped over, it's breathtaking. In fact most of the decor was bought in Ireland, the friendly bartender Henry told me. The owner is Irish and he and his business partner spent a year buying and shipping odds and ends to the US. They have two floors in the place and you could spend hours admiring the bric-a-brac throughout. The stone fireplaces are floor to celing, they have a custom skylight that lets light into the main floor and the backbar is one of the nicest in the city. They recently added an outdoor seating area, it's nice and cool in the afternoon. I had my pint outside during happy hour with one of the best salads I've ever eaten. I can't say enough good things about the place. It's a real asset to the neighborhood. Long live Mulleadys.
