A new owner has taken over (""a couple of guys who know nothing about the bar business and cant even pour a drink""- says someone to remain annonymous) . Drinks were horrible. My Vodka/tonic tasted like straight tonic and my sister's vodka/cran tasted like straight cran. Come on- how many times have you ordered a vodka/cran has it been BRIGHT red?? Never! So anyways, we took them back and KINDLY asked for different drinks. (we went up at seperate times) and both times the bartender didnt seem to mind. Anyways, about a half hour later after we were already satisfied with our new drinks, the owner walks towards us (clearly looked like the owner-khakis, nice button up shirt and a cowardly look on his face) I was thinking ""oh great the owner is coming over to us, he's going to say something nice like""sorry girls about the drinks, I hope you'll come back again"" LIKE ALL BAR AND RESTAURANT OWNERS SHOULD DO! But no, he approached our table and said ""we comp'd you 2 vodkas, but clearly Mulleadys is not the place for you, please never come back""!! OH MY GOD!!!!! That was THE most surreal moment of my life! How EFFING unexpected!! He also left a note when he walked away that basically said the same thing and he left his name and number. I asked the waiter to go upstairs and get him. Thats where he ran off to after he gave us his Shpeel. The waiter came back down and said ""he doesnt want to come down, he said all he had to say"". What an effin coward! And, by the way, if you guys know this place- they had pretty decent food. I've always liked it. Its terrible now. HORRIBLE, actually.
