I have been traveling to Portland on business for years and I have a thing for gelato. Every time I make it to PDX, I go out of my way to visit this nice little shop (I hear they have another location as well... haven't been there yet). I chatted with one of the owners (I think her name was Sarah) one morning I was there. She was very nice and quite friendly. We talked about Portland and how nice it was there. It felt very warm , welcoming and casual. Very Portland indeed. The staff there has always been pleasant to me.... And most of them fairly easy on the eyes. I love the tried and true favorite flavors right along with the new and somewhat seasonal offerings like Thai iced tea or Lavender.
Pros: best gelato plus coffee and doughnuts!
Cons: in a different state.
