I am sure you were at some other Silver Lake, not Henley?s Silver Lake Resort. There are a few Silver Lakes in Washington State.
Henley's Silver Lake Resort is located just 6 miles from the lovely town of Eatonville, Washington. Silver Lake is based at the foot of Mt. Rainier about 20 miles to the west.
It is a small spring-fed lake, nestled in the wetlands of Pierce County.
Henley's Silver Lake Resort is a family camp and we do not promote any behavior that does not support that. We are a peaceful, fun and beautiful camp.
Henley?s Resort raise and feed 30,000 rainbow trout in pens throughout the winter. They are released into Silver Lake in early April, when they have reached about 6 to 8 inches in length. Washington State also release trout into Silver Lake. Fishing Season at Silver Lake opens April 30th this year and runs until late October.
Silver Lake hosts a variety of fish. As well as rainbow trout, we have large mouth bass, perch, crappies, catfish, and blue gill. Until recently German Browns were also stocked. Although they are no longer stocked, there are still the holdovers, as witnessed by the local fisherman.
My husband and I became the new owners of Henley's Silver Lake Resort in August 2010. Please come and fish on our 200 ft dock or rent a row boat. We have 6 cabins and 18 RV sites as well as a grassy park for camping. We know that you will love it as much as we do! Call us at 360 832-3580
