Review content:
Several weeks ago I went to RCS Pressure Supply Inc. to price pressure washing machines. The owner, Leon, said that he would take the time to price out a package for me. Several days later, he called back stating that he had a package together. I was working at the time and asked him if he could email his offer to me. For whatever reason he did not. I opted to purchase a machine from an online source for $100 cheaper than his were priced. Today, I went to purchase supplies from him because he is local and I like to support the small business owners in my area. As I was looking at his extension wands he asked if we had met before. I told him we had and that I had opted to purchase my machine online. He then asked, ""Then why don't you buy your wands online too?"" I replied ""Because I'd rather purchase them from you.? He then told me, ""I'd rather you buy them online"" and gestured for me to return the extension wand to the display rack. I said, ""If that's how you want top do business"". To that he replied, ""Yeah, that's how I want to do business."" I suppose that he was upset that I chose to purchase my first washer from someone else. However, I am just starting up my new business and price really is a factor. He is not the cheapest. Even though I opted not to purchase my first machine from Leon and RCS I had every intention of purchasing all of my supplies from him. Until he ran me off, that is. Quite frankly, I'm glad that he and I didn't do business with him today. After our conversation I did a quick web search on my cell phone and found a company called APCO only 10 minutes from his shop. At APCO, I was able to purchase two extension wands (an 8 foot and a 4 foot) and 2 quick connects for less money than Leon was asking for 1 extension wand. I am thankful to Leon for having such terrible customer service. He saved me money and cost himself money. Not only did he lose this sale, but he lost my business for life. I plan to keep my pressure washing business running for the next 20 -30 years. Today, Leon lost money on several pressure washing machines over the next several years as well as all of the supplies and repairs that I may need in the future. Leon, Thank you for running me off. You not only lost my business but you saved me money as well.
