OCEAN CARPET IS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE! Steve and his company, Ocean Carpet, are a complete sham and waste of time. I can't say I wasn't warned though....he received several poor reviews due to his unreliability and inability to come through on his word. After speaking with him however, I decided to give him a chance. He seemed knowledgeable and conscientious and I took him at his word. He cancelled day after day with a different excuse each time --equipment failure, truck problem, a wake to attend, child care issue, and so on --rescheduling repeatedly, with some big story, promising to come the next day Needless to say, I wasted a full week planning around this unprofessional, inconsiderate, unreliable guy who claims to have a business. On the last day, he never even bothered to call --just didn't show up and wouldn't pick up his phone al day, after I had again taken time off of work to be at the house. A total disgrace. Be warned. He seems like a nice guy, but he's a sham and yes, I'm a jackass for not going elsewhere at the first sign. NOT TO BE TRUSTED. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS. Do not attempt to do business with this guy and do not waste a minute of your time or energy trying to deal with him. It will end in frustration, and I'm sorry I put my faith in him...a total nightmare. I shudder to think what would happen if he actually shows up. (He also suggested he could do the steam cleaning without me there and lock up the house when he was done. God help the person who consents to that.!)
