I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews of this restaurant. I have been there numerous times, usually on special occasions, and have never received anything but friendly and attentive service. I have to wonder if people receiving rude service aren't arriving with a chip on their shoulder for some reason. Our plates consistently arrive perfectly timed, with new ones arriving just as we finish the old ones. The menu is always interesting and many times I order things I would normally not think of having (such as rabbit), only to be pleasantly surprised. I always arrive hungry and leave sated. The waitstaff is well-versed in the wine list and I always enjoy their suggestions. We have been there for their prix fixe menus on New Year's and Valentine's Day, which are superb. It's definitely not on the cheap side so save your visit for an occasion where you're willing to pay extra for a special dinner. Try to get a table upstairs if you want a quieter, more romantic or intimate feel, or sit downstairs if you want to people-watch. Don't expect a night out at Sizzler and you will enjoy yourself immensely. And for pete's sake do NOT forget to order the bacon-wrapped dates. Pros: Unusual and delicious small plates, top-notch service, great wine list Cons: On the noisy side, especially downstairs; usually very crowded; expect to wait for your table even with a reservation
