Never have I experience such a unprofessional and bitter environment like I have experienced in American Beauty School! For those who are highly interested in persuing Cosmetology as a career it is imperative that you take into consideration the reviews for ABS. First, you want to invest your money wisely! There are other beauty schools in N.Y. that superceeds ABS and have a high standard of proficiency and excellence in the skills and professionalism of top cosmetology schools. At ABS, the Director and the Administration staff WORK HARD TO GET YOUR MONEY while LACKING in preparing the students with the necessary tools, a well developed and planned curriculum and a great learning atmosphere. You will clearly see that ABS is centered around the students MONEY and not the student! The students DON""T have a voice, an opinion, an idea! Your rights will be automatically shut down the moment you begin the program. As the Director would say, ""Life isn't fair"". Now how is that for a Director that doesn't care for the students and their education! For the past years I have learned to deal with highly professional individuals from the pleasant to the most irate and the Director and staff overexceed unprofessionalism! The only thing that I take from ABS are my completed 1000 hours and a few good friends! In conclusion, I don't recommend this school to even my worst enemy!
