My fiancee and I had ordered from Villa Romana before and the food was less than stellar, but we thought we might have ordered the wrong things. We decided to give the restaurant another chance last night, and it turned out to be an awful mistake. When we called in our order, we asked for a total, and the order-taker didn't answer us. He merely said ""Your order will be there in an hour"". We asked if we could give our credit card number, and the guy said "" your driver will deal with that, it will be an hour"" and then hung up. After an hour and 30 minutes, we called to check on our order and the guy who answered the phone curtly told us, it would be 20 more minutes. After 30 minutes more, we called again and they said it should be coming soon. When my fiancee explained to them that we had ordered the food almost 2 hours ago and asked to speak to the manager. the manager said ""We're very busy. Our dining room customers come first"". There was no apology or offer to give us a discount, just a continued proclamation of ""We're very busy"". When the food finally arrived over 2 hours after we ordered it, our pizza was cold and our salads were soggy. We would NEVER, EVER order from this restaurant again.
