I have never been compelled to write a review of a restaurant before. it was that bad.
gave this place 2 tries in the last three months because I love sushi and it is in a convenient location from my house.
terrible both times. what a shame since the location is great....right in the middle of the grandview avenue area.
it smells like sewage in the bar area.
the sushi is average at best. the prices are high. they have no draft beer. the red wine was too warm and tasted like it had been opened then recorked from the previous night.
the service was slow. the staff just stands around looking at each other like a herd of cattle. the interior has a clubby 1999 feel which is unpleasant. the music was equally annoying...kind of a 1999 euro synth-pop chillout thing happening.
basically, this place just sucks.
