Review content:
I went into shoku three times to be fair before i critiqued the establishment. The food was always overcooked, the rice was yellow, and the freshness was extremely questionable. Two out of the three times i ate there, people were arguing at the top of there lungs. I paid $12 for a roll that consisted of two shrimp and mayonnaise w/ tempura flakes on top. I ordered a tofu dumpling soup twice in a row(1st and second visit) and it was a totally different dish each time. My guest ordered a salad that contained moldy lettuce. We ordered an almond beef which contained the fattiest yet very dry misc. beef and absolutely no almonds. To end the meal, i had some mango ice cream that was freezer burnt and the worst cup of coffee i have had since high school. The clincher is the price. We paid $60 for the worst meal i could remember in a decade. You'd be better off spending $20 at your fast food Asian restaurant because you won't feel like an idiot for spending so much on poorly made food. Good luck Shoku. Pros: cute waitresses Cons: everything else
