my wife and i, went to shoku on a whim thinking it would be a nice place to eat as we have heard, yet the service was only okay at best, at least for us, other tables near us seemed to have better service. our 45+ minute wait for sushi that was seemingly unfresh was almost unbearable. the restaraunt wasn't even very busy. to somewhat ruin our otherwise quite evening, there was an older woman yelling at the staff quite loudly in front of patrons as if we were'nt there at all, i must assume she is a manager of sorts. how rude and impolite, and completely unprofessional. i myself own and operate a restaraunt and such occurences would never be allowed in my establishment. if i felt it would be worth my time, the owner(s) would hear about our horrible experience, but we won't ever be returning.
Pros: they have a very nice patio and friendly staff
Cons: waiting for food, small portions, and angry loud managers
