I have tryed Basso56 twice already. Beeing close to work I stoped by for lunch one day and I was truly amazed: for $16 pris fix you get a two course of a generous meal plus coffee and soda. I think the best deal in the area! ( try especially the fish of the day or the ravioli of the day, and you will be surprised). Than I decided to try the place again for dinner now, and it was a real wonderful experience. The place is very clean and cozy. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable; they tell a long list of specials at the table besides the menu. Also great recommendations on the wine list which has a nice extensive selection of all-italian by the glass or on the $28-32 price range bottles. We tryed the artichoke salad and the sliced portobello for the appetizer and they were delicious. Also the papardelle with lamb ragu' sauce and the red snaper special with crab meat crust were amazing. The Tiramisu'(served in the gass) was the best I ever had. They make exellent cappuccinos as well. Pros: Cozy, Clean, Spacious, Exellent food
