Review content:
My husband and I celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary at Rathbun's this past weekend, and we had such a wonderful time! We were seated right away and were immediately impressed with the restaurant's ambience and design (very open, beautiful, comfortable, lively without being too noisy). Our server was friendly, helpful, accommodating, and attentive, and other servers stopped by occasionally to ask how we were doing. The food was the best part of all; my husband's pan fried cheese appetizer was wonderful, as was my romaine and gruyere salad (the toasted oregano vinaigrette is really good!). Additionally, our entrees (his seared scallops with cheese grits and my tarragon roasted chicken) were perfect, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the two desserts he tried.
In sum, our evening was very special, thanks in large part to Rathbun's. This will definitely be our new special occasion dining spot!!
