I moved from Los Angeles where you can easily find great dim sum. I gave up on trying to find good Dim Sum in Denver, until Heaven Star opened. I am Chinese and have had authentic dim sum from San Francisco to Old Chinatown in L.A. Heaven Star was a pleasant surprise, and I have to say that it is the best you'll get in Denver Metro. I have tried the other dim sum restaurants on Federal and they were ok. We went on a Sunday and were seated right away. The beverage service was fast and the carts were immediately at our table. As with any dim sum restaurant the best time to go is on the weekends. You will get more variety and fresh steaming hot dishes. If you plan on introducing a friend to this experience, do them a favor and go on a Saturday or Sunday. When word gets out about this place be prepared to wait in line.
Pros: Fast Service, Great authentic taste
Cons: When word spreads there will defintely be a long wait.
