Review content:
Seated us right away without any delay. Place looked ambiently nice but the folks sitting at the bar 5 feet away probably tarnished that atmosphere for my gf (I was facing the wall, away from them). Menu is entirely in Italian with only a few recogizable words here and there. Decided to stay away from the pizza even though it was the most understandable menu item. The waiter was very friendly and helpful in translating the menu. But since I couldn't expect him to sit next to us and read it line by line, we managed to get a splatter of translations and had to choose our main course based on what we had asked to be translated, not necessarily what we would've ordered if everything was in English. Food came very timely and was delicious. For appetizer we had the chicken liver patte which was tolerable. I guess coming from a Russian family we had different expectations. It was served in this tiny, odd shaped dish that made getting it that much tougher. For main course I had the quail which was the special of the day and my gf had the half chicken under the brick. Both were very presentable and tasted exquisite. Excellent wine selection (they'll offer a tasting if you are unsure) although their martinis were a bit lacking. Fair prices and over all a great anniversary dinner. Highly recommended, tho bring a dictionary (or research the menu before hand).
Pros: Fast service, great food
Cons: Ambience hurt by nearby bar.
