My ""firm start date"" of 7/21/08 quickly got delayed. I took off work to be there when the crew came, but they did not show up and did not even have the courtesy to call. When I called to inquire, I was given an excuse that the foreman was sick and that they would possibly be out the next day. I might add, that when I called at 9:30 a.m, the workers were just coming in. After that, they have to load up and come out to the site which takes another hour. REAL professionals do not start work at 10:30-11 a.m. in July! Back to the story....They did not show the next day either, but I was promised that a crew would be diverted the following day and they would definitely start. This ""definite"" date again fell through with no word from them. Seven days later, they show up to my house at 1:30 p.m. - I was off work AGAIN waiting on them so I could do a walk through. When I arrived home that evening to check the progress, I found that they had altered my line and dug holes as far as 14 inches from where they needed to be. They agreed to dig the holes again, and I thought all was well when I came home to find the posts in cement and the lines corrected. That good feeling faded when they failed to show up at all the following day (a Friday). Today is day 14 of this nightmare of a fence project, and my poor dogs have been boarded for 19 days ( I had to put them up a few days early in order to take down the old fence). I truly do not know if they showed up to finish today or not, I have left two messages and neither has been returned. If possible, I will update this post once the work has been completed. Overall, I am very dissatisfied and only gave them a star because ""zero"" was not an option. These guys will beat any estimate, but be aware that you get what you pay for.
