Review content:
Steve and Rocky's is a consistent standout on the Detroit restaurant scene. That says a lot. The menu manages to be both comforting and sophisticated. While your food will not exactly reach the heights of the best restaurants in the city you will come away having experienced a high-end meal at more modest (if ever so slightly) prices. The down-side of Steve and Rocky's? The clientele tends to skew toward seniors and groups of males in business suits so if it's hip and suave you want this won't fit the bill. The piano accompaniment to the meal can quickly become a bit too precious (think Bojangles and Piano Man as mainstays of the repertoire). Otherwise, good value and solid, often creative food preparation.
