In searching the internet, I was a little surprised by the negative comments on this site for Link Stamp Company. The Link Stamp Company has been in business for over 40 years and I have been a customer more than half of those. There are no bars on the windows. There is no buzzer to buzz people in. The only time I have ever seen the door locked is in late afternoon when it gets dark before he closes. A simple little tap on the door will get you admittance. The shop is in an area where there is a Columbus Library, 2 Elementary Schools, a Middle School and a High School within a 4 block radius. Also many other businesses in a very busy part of Livingstone Ave including a Doctor's Office.
The Link Stamp Company has a huge stamp stock of both Foreign and U.S with stock being from the high-end material for the serious collector to the inexpensive stamps for the novice collector. Mr. Linker has always been fair in both his prices for his stock and also treatment of his customers while being very knowledgable in his profession.
Mr. Linker is sometimes out of the shop to appraise collections and to attend Stamp Shows all over the Eastern part of the United States. So it is probably best to call before stopping in. Over the years, I have had a very pleasurable experience shopping at this business.
