Review content:
Bikes Not Bombs is the shop I would recommend to anyone looking for a refurbished bike (or a surly crosscheck). They are located in JP right off of the southwest corridor, so it was well worth the drive for me. I was comfortable asking many questions and test riding a bunch of different road bikes too. I visited twice - the first at the beginning of my quest for a (tiny) road bike, the second at the end, to purchase said road bike. They had more of a selection in my size than the other places I visited, and were patient even though the shop was busy. Included in a refurbished bicycle purchase is a tune-up after one month and10% off purchases in the store in the next year. Additionally, they also do some really neat things like work with local youth groups and international work, so you support that when you shop there.
Pros: patient, helpful staff! great selection
Cons: location
